Maybe Sasha Shares the Visual For His New Song “I Can’t”

On “I Can’t”, Maybe Sasha delves into influences ranging from Hunky Dory/Ziggy Stardust era David Bowie to a modern indie rock almost bedroom pop aesthetic touching on feelings of loss, confusion, and letting go.

The upcoming full length debut “Rhombus”, for which “I Can’t” is the lead single, features the Los Angeles based artist/multi-instrumentalist jumping from all sorts of genres in an oddball connectivity, with hints of avante-garde, alt-pop, indie rock, anti-pop, shoegaze, surf punk, alt-rap and influences of The Beatles, King Krule, Spellling, Sigur Ros, Nilufer Yanya, Yung Lean, Eels, Jerry Paper, and Mac Miller.

Many of these ideas first begin to seep through with “I Can’t” where Sasha explores lack of communication in failed relationships, both romantic and platonic, as well as the fear of not knowing the best course of action for anything or anyone, period.
