Music Tectonics Conference programming responds to where the innovation is bubbling up now, and where it’s about to break out. “We were talking about current buzzwords before they were cool!” explains conference director Dmitri Vietze. “At our first conference in 2019 we held an ‘AI talent show’ and a ‘blockchain cage match’ to spark conversations about controversial emerging technologies. We continue to scan the horizon for the next seismic shifts while we keep space for maturing those conversations.”
Since that first 2019 conference, Music Tectonics has made its name as a conference that brings leading innovators together from all over the music industry ecosystem to connect and make deals. Varied experiences and unexpected venues set the stage for making meaningful connections, scheduling meetings, and serendipitous encounters.
“We’ve held the conference in hotels, online, in the metaverse, and on a carousel by the beach, but wherever we gather the focus is on getting business done,” conference planner Shayli Ankenbruck remarks. “We just might do business while riding on a colorful horse or watching a sunset over the Pacific Ocean.”
