NxtNow Co-Founder Josh Whyte Receives National Black History Wales Youth Award

In a celebration of young talent and creativity, Race Council Cymru proudly presented the National Black History Wales Youth Award in the Creative Industries category to Josh Whyte, the talented Cardiff based artist/producer, aka Blank Face, and co-founder/CTO of NxtNow. This prestigious accolade acknowledges his exceptional contributions as a young trailblazer in the creative realm.

The Creative Industries category specifically recognizes young individuals excelling in creative fields such as writing, producing, composing, event production, festival programming, and event creation. Josh’s achievements highlight the vibrancy and innovation within the youth segment of the creative industries.

The award ceremony, held at the Senedd (Welsh Parliament building), was a momentous occasion where Josh received the honor. Distinguished guests, including Prof Uzo Iwobi OBE, Founder and Chief Executive of RCC, along with the presence of First Minister Mark Drakeford and Social Justice Minister Jane Hut, added to the significance of this event.
