Bijøux is Pop/RnB artist who brings a novel sound to a saturated industry. By creatively merging different genres to formulate her tunes, this powerhouse captivates her audience with a talent that leaves you wanting more. Travelling between Toronto and Montreal Canada, she is steadily growing in the music scenes.
Born to a Nigerian father and a Congolese mother, Bijøux’s earliest memories is singing to Michael Jackson in her grandmother’s living room. At the young age of 7, she realized her passion for music and by the age of 12, Bijøux began performing at concerts in Lagos, Nigeria.
Fast-forward a few years, Bijøux has graced the stages of Toronto Diversity festival, El mocambo, Maritimes Idol, Tuuko, Live it Loud, RISE, Turbo Haus, Canadian Heritage Evening Show, Open Heavens and more.
During the global pandemic, the unfortunate event became an opportunity for Bijøux to broaden her musical capabilities by, learning how to produce. Through that acquired skill, Bijøux bore her first single called “Joker”.
Her followup, “Ghost World”, is inspired by the mental fatigue one experiences in a love gone wrong. This new single is a song about liberation and self discovery.
