Dhruv Gupta, known by his stage name “møhx,” began his musical journey at just 14, creating songs in his bedroom. After years of honing his craft, he found his unique sound and confidence in 2020 with the release of his track “Sad Together,” which resonated with listeners as the Covid-19 pandemic unfolded. Building on this momentum, he dropped his debut EP, glimpses, in 2021, featuring the pop anthem “Butterflies,” produced by Adrian Garcia (Riggs).
After taking a break to focus on his studies, Gupta returned in 2023 with “The Longing,” a self-produced and introspective track reflecting on his experiences over the past two years. Later that year, he collaborated with Konn on the single “imyt,” released under Chapter Eight Records. The success of “imyt” paved the way for his latest release, “I’m Sorry, You Know,” a high-energy, lyrically relatable dance track produced with Konn.
On Instagram, Gupta shared his thoughts on the new track: “For me, the purpose of this song was to rework my outlook on life. I think that intention also changed my artistry. This song feels like a rebirth for my music, even though I know I’m still in the very early stages. Releasing this song means I am finally putting out the music that I want to.”
