Everwave Releases its First Globally Collaborative Album “Wave 01”
Have you ever wondered what it would sound like if artists from all around the world, spanning an array of genres, came together to create a one-of-a-kind musical project? Well, look no further. Everwave has officially released its first album “Wave 01” containing 9 tracks created in collaboration between 18 unique producers and musicians on the Everwave platform.
Along the journey to this release, each track was individually distributed to DSPs every Friday for nine consecutive weeks. Tracks “Freedom Praise” and “Origin 01” have earned inclusion in Spotify’s State of Jazz editorial playlist, and inclusion in NPR’s New Music Friday playlist on July 15th with Everwave single “Mounds.” Moreover, listeners have already taken an interest in the creations by artists on Everwave garnering 22K monthly listeners on Spotify in a matter of 2 months.
Everwave’s collaborative creation model aims to center music and inspiration on its innovative platform, with artistic principles akin to the improvisational character of jazz and adjacent genres.
