Italian Pop Singer-Songwriter Shards Shares “Elevator”

Shards is a Naples, Italy based artist who writes, sings and produces his own songs, and finds musical inspiration in his all-time favourite artist, George Michael. This talented music creator just unveiled his new song entitled “Elevator”, which deals with humans trying to become somebody despite all those insecurities that lie in themselves.

Speaking about the release, Shards says, “The elevator serves as a metaphor of the ups and downs people face throughout their lives. The idea of the elevator came up while going at my aunt’s place for dinner and I was in the elevator that led me to her home and I started remembering what my mum use to say me everyday “in your life you’ll be having tons of ups and downs” and I’ve mixed the two moments by entrusting to my mother the liability of chorus ending part “remind what mommy used to say, this life is like an elevator that lifts you up then drags you down” and it came up very well and sounded so good that I decided to keep the whole thing.”
