NN Music Video of the Week: “Biting Ice Cream” by Maggie Andrew

Having grown up in Halifax, NS, Maggie Andrew infuses her music with the struggles of personal life and past traumas. “When I write my music, it’s often a reflection of who I am and what I’ve been through. These new songs will introduce a whole different side to me as an artist, it’s next level.”

Inspiration can come from the most unpredictable places, like maybe when you’re trying on your first grill at the jeweler’s! Maggie’s song, “Biting Ice Cream” (APR 14) came from that icy, white image of wearing a grill and thinking about getting ice cream on a hot California afternoon.

The track is 75% attitude and 25% sexy with bouncy 808s and playful melodies.

We’ve designated the dope visualizer for “Biting Ice Cream” as our NN Music Video of the Week.
