Avex Music Group Signs Elyas, Producer of Drake’s Hit Single “What Did I Miss?”
Avex Music Group, the global music company of Japanese entertainment giant Avex led by CEO Brandon Silverstein, has announced that it has signed Elyas, the producer behind a number of Drake songs including his current hit single “What Did I Miss?” as well as “It’s Up”, feat. Young Thug, “ON BS”, feat. 21 Savage,” “Solid,” “Losses”. “What Did I Miss?” debuted at Number Two on Billboard's Hot 100 this week, after reaching Number One on Spotify’s U.S. chart and Apple Music. The signing was led by Avex Music Group Director of A&R, Brennen Bryant.
A GRAMMY nominated producer based in Essen, Germany, Elkan has worked with some of hip hop's biggest names including Drake, 21 Savage, Young Thug, J. Cole, Chris Brown, Rema and many others.
