ELOVET Unleashes His New Single/Video “RUNN!!”

ELOVET is a solo project by Aljournal "ELOVET" Franklin II, a true, modern musical creative, who doesn't care about genre; all that matters is how it feels. He often creates brooding, rumbling textural projects that more closely resemble film scores and sprawling audio compositions than conventional albums.

ELOVET is influenced by the experimental work of many artists spanning many genres, such as CAN, Massive Attack, Kanye West, ANIKA, Bon Iver, and Bjork (to name a few).

Speaking of very good music, ELOVET has just unveiled his new single entitled “RUNN!!”, which he produced, recorded and mixed in a studio apartment in Los Angeles. It was initially meant to be a beat switch and outro to the track "HOPED_ID_4GETT"; however, over time it really took on a life of its own and eventually became the single for ELOVET's "WAR!!!" EP.

Along with the song, ELOVET has also dropped its music video, which marks the first collaborative visual project between he and KIRYN SKY . “I want the viewers and listeners to feel a burst of aggressive chaos” was a guiding concept behind the choices made by the duo throughout the development of the final visuals. Executed by the duo to create a balanced experience, that can be described as, a chaotic but aesthetically pleasing ruckus throughout the videos brief 1:35 time stamp.
