Fan-Driven Platform Fave Opens the Gates to Fandoms Beyond Music

Poised for its biggest year ever, the platform is expanding to welcome fans of all kinds, whether they are into the NFL or the Spider-Verse.

Fave, the fan-driven platform (faveforfans.com), has become an online home for Harries, The BTS Army, Swifties, Hooligans, and other music-loving communities. It’s pioneered a fan-centered approach that lets communities decide for themselves how to engage, celebrate, and create. Now, it’s making room for new fandoms and expanding beyond music for its biggest year ever.

Every fandom is unique. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to optimizing any community,” says founder and CEO Jacquelle Amankonah Horton. “We started with music because that’s where our personal fandom was born, but the sophistication, depth, and vast amount of fan activity I see in other areas of fandom - movies, sports, fashion, restaurants, comedy, streamers, and more - shows that we’re ripe and needed for fan empowerment everywhere.”

In 2024, Fave will launch several projects designed to offer new, thrilling experiences to fans of certain strands of the Marvel universe, pro football, and more. For example, Fave kicked off the Spider-Man fandom at MegaCon 2024 collaborating with talented actor and musician Shameik Moore, the voice behind Spider-Man in Marvel Entertainment’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the Oscar-nominated sequel Across the Spider-Verse to celebrate fans and learn about what kinds of new experiences they want to do across the Spider-Verse world.

Some of these new experiences will include more in-person events, much like those Fave has facilitated for music fandoms. Fave helped fans throw a major party for Harry Styles’ birthday during GRAMMY week and a sold-out event at the famous Chinese Theatre for BTS fans. The company is now planning with fans to create unique events with their eye on upcoming milestones for some of their biggest fandoms, along with D23, ComicCons, football games, and future movie premieres. To make things even more fun, Fave is curating special party kits for fandoms to easily hold their own fan events at will around the globe.

Adam Harter, formerly the Senior Vice President of Media, Sports & Entertainment at Pepsi and advisor to Fave notes: “I am continually amazed by what a powerful force fan passion is and it has been exciting to watch Fave find new, creative ways to unleash that energy first in the music industry and now in the worlds of entertainment and sports. When I think about what sports teams and brands can achieve by leaning into their biggest superfans through Fave, the possibilities are truly endless.”

Why Fave has become a trusted partner for fans is simple: it’s designed to do more than a traditional fanclub. Fave rewards fans who participate passionately in community activities. These verified fans can gain access to significant perks and exclusive events. “When the community can effectively talk to each other and plan things together with their own energy, creators don’t have to always be on, always with the spotlight on them, always cranking out content,” Horton notes. “Instead, fans find inspiration and togetherness on their own terms. We’re giving the tools to shape an amazing time together.”
