Chase Hagerman Unveils “Like a Movie”, Off His Newly Released Album “The Avant Guardian”

Chase Hagerman is an eclectically-styled, classically experienced composer, producer, drummer and pianist from the foothills of Yosemite, California. He is the son of a dance teacher and was enveloped in music since the dawn of his time. From college marching bands and orchestras to rock bands and theatre troupes, he has learned and evolved from many different facets of music.

Chase is a graduate of the Los Angeles College of Music, where he earned his degree in music production, with an emphasis on composing for visual media.

He tends to have unconventional approaches to writing and playing music and combined with his avant-garde mentality, his productions are unique and span a vast array of genres and styles.

Chase’s new single “Like a Movie” is a song which he produced, with backing vocals of his good pal Collin Riley. Speaking about this release, Chase says “I wrote this song a week after I met a girl and fell for her. The song is the story.”

“This song is inspired by a mix between "Little Lion Man" by Mumford and Sons, and "Ive Just Seen a Face" by The Beatles.”

“Like a Movie” is the 13th song you’ll hear on the newly released full length album entitled “The Avant Guardian”, which Chase unveiled last week. The project is a colorfully eclectic, 21 track album with two seamless halves.
