Star2 Unveils His Deeply Emotional Single/Video “4:00 AM in LA”

Asian-American artist Star2 unveils a deeply emotional new single and video “4:00 AM in LA” alongside fellow refugee artist Ler Mu Dex. Set against haunting visuals of empty highways, stormy skies, and memories that won’t fade, the track captures the raw, reflective pain that hits hardest in the early hours. Blending intimate melodies, R&B-laced vocals, and soul-searching lyrics like “I’ll never love again // not like I loved her,” the song and video taps into the universal ache of love lost. The accompanying music video is rich with moody, cinematic visuals of neon-lit freeways, glittering memories of a past love, and the isolating calm of an LA skyline at dawn.

Born in a Thai refugee camp after fleeing genocide in Myanmar, Star2 has built a powerful artistic presence through resilience, storytelling, and collaborations with rap heavyweights like Soulja Boy, Mozzy, and Luh Kel. “4:00 AM in LA” is the lead single from his latest album No Place Like Home. His impressive collaborations include Soulja Boy, Mozzy, Lil Poppa, Luh Kel, HoodTrophy Bino, $tupid Young and Sprite to name a few.
