Watch Lucy Mayhem’s Lyric Video for Her Single “Into Hell”

Coming to us from Winston-Salem, NC, Lucy Mayhem has unveiled her new single “Into Hell”, which is her villain origin story. Produced by her and Jamie King, and mixed and mastered by Jamie King, "Into Hell" is an expansion of her most popular single "Save Me". The track will be featured on Lucy Mayhem’s 2nd EP entitled "Into Hell", which is due for release on August 9th.

“Into Hell” is dark, moody, but big production drives the powerful energy of the song. Lyrically, is is honest, story telling, and the perfect mix of sad, angry, and revengeful. Whether you love the song or not, it is bound to grab your attention. Accompanying the single is the lyric video which Lucy Mayhem directed, along with Justin Bailey.

Speaking about “Into Hell”, Lucy Mayhem states “it's the 2nd out of 3 singles leading up to the "Into Hell" EP release. It was produced by myself (Minus vocals that I recorded at, producer, Jamie King's studio), mixing and mastering was also done by Jamie King. The song, from a personal standpoint, is about my battle with mental health, specifically dealing with depression for years, and mental health issues all my life. Kinda a breaking point for me mentally where I decide that I no longer want to be a prisoner/victim to this thing, and instead I want to fight it and get my own version of revenge by not letting it defeat me. Conceptually, the song "Into Hell" fits in with the story of the "Into Hell" EP as my villain origin story.”
