NN Music Video of the Week: “Legends of the Underside” by Ultra_eko

“Legends of the Underside”, our newly designated NN Music Video of the Week, is not just some four minute clip for a track, but a whole album composed of 16 songs.

The project is a unique and completely original, award winning musical feature, written and performed by hip-hop artists, Ultra_eko and DaRealMrLee. Using hip-hop to tell a story through the visual medium, “Legends of the Underside” is quite unlike anything else.

Ultra_eko and DaRealMrLee are telling an absurd metaphysical story, in which a supernatural penguin, aided by a senile pensioner, battles a demonic materialist, the Outsider Artist, in a more subtle realm of reality known as the Underside, and we are here for it.
